CISOR: Mountain Combat and Survival basic course

From Thursday 18th till Sunday 20th July 2024

  • Course duration: 4 days
  • Maximum number of participants: 6 people (soldiers or NCO) from foreign nation of CISOR ( no Swiss participants), limited to 1 participant per country, participant needs the approval of her/his organisation member’s of CISOR.
  • Location: Switzerland, canton of Valais, Pick-up point: Aigle railway station
  • Registration fees: CHF 250.- per person
  • Dress: battle dress
  • Basic requirements: good physical condition, no mountain sickness / vertigo, mountain risk insurance.

Rock climbing and crossing natural obstacles are common skills for mountain combat.
Progress over difficult terrains to gain advantages for a combat mission.

SOF Sion owns basic sets of equipment to organise various instructions and competitions.

Foreign participants must have authorisation of their arm forces to wear their uniforms in Switzerland.
